Pete was born in Corvallis and grew up on a small farm outside Sublimity. As a third generation contractor growing up in the family business, Pete was 15 when he began working in construction and 21 when he started working with his uncle building homes. Pete joined the family business in 2003, and became partners in Century Construction in 2005. His affinity for organization and detailed workmanship spurred him to start his own company, Slayden Homes, in 2011. 

Since then, Pete has been building warm and inspiring spaces that welcome you home again and again.
